Run The Runway - Corpus Christi
Run The Runway is a running and walking event held at Corpus Christi International Airport. The event takes place on airport runways and offers close views of aircraft, trucks, special vehicles, and other airport operations. A short kids run precedes the main course, followed by an out and back 5K course suitable for walking or running.

- 1K Kids Fun Run
- 2 Mile Walk
- 5K out and back walk or run
The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Corpus Christi International Airport, 1000 International Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78406. Packet pickup is available on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the first floor of the airport, and on the morning of the event at the start line from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m.
Registration fees are listed as $20 for the 1K and the 2 Mile Walk, and $30 for the 5K (rising to $40 after August 31). T-shirt sizes and finisher medals are only guaranteed for registrations completed before September 1, 2026.
The event benefits Wings of Texas, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2014 as an adaptive running program. Wings of Texas runs multiple adaptive sports programs and community activities aimed at improving accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities.
