Coast Guard Race 2026
The City of Portsmouth organizes the 12th Annual Coast Guard Race at Festival Park in Portsmouth, VA on Saturday 08/01/2026. The event takes place as a community race that honors the local Coast Guard community and is open to all runners.

- Sea Otter 1/4 mile for ages 2 to 12
Registration is available in tiered pricing. Winter special prices apply through February 14, early registration prices through May 15, and standard registration thereafter. Specific fees are listed for each distance, with a dedicated rate for active Coast Guard participants. A Sea Otter youth entry fee is also listed.
Awards and recognition are provided for overall and service-specific performance. Prizes are given to the top three male and female finishers, the top three male and female Coast Guard finishers, and the top male and female in each age category. Age categories include 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
