Coal Cracker 10K
The Coal Cracker 10K takes place on 06/13/2026 in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, with the event base at 115 W Centre St. The main race covers a 6.2 Miles course through downtown Shenandoah and the surrounding Coal Region.
The route begins in the center of town and passes through downtown streets before entering a section of twists, turns, and gently rolling hills. Early in the course runners encounter several hills, including a steep climb up St. Nick's breaker. After that climb there is roughly one mile of downhill back toward town, and the finish line sits just after a short uphill approach.

The event includes an awards ceremony that features more than 50 unique awards, each handcrafted from coal sourced in Schuylkill County. The awards ceremony will include Mrs. T's Pierogies and cold Yuengling beer. An after party is held following the awards at The Lyric Bar & Restaurant.
