Coal & Coke Fireworks 30/10 Miler - Mt Pleasant, PA
The Coal & Coke Fireworks event is an inaugural trail race on the Coal & Coke Trail system organized by BALS Racing on July 11, 2026 in Mt Pleasant, Pennsylvania. The event offers two race distances.

- 10 Miler
The course uses a 5-mile out-and-back (a 10-mile loop) with about 145 feet of elevation change per loop. The trail is wide, non-technical double track composed of crushed gravel and sections of pavement. There is space near the start/finish and along the trail for crew areas.
Two aid stations will be provided: one at the start/finish and one at the 5-mile turnaround. The start/finish station will offer hot organic foods such as protein pancakes, grilled cheese, and quesadillas, plus organic snacks, water, and an electrolyte mix. The turnaround station will offer organic snacks, water, and the same electrolyte mix.
Registered participants receive a swag bag including an ice bandana, a BALS sticker, and sample items. All finishers receive an etched pint glass, a handmade medal, and a race sticker. Top three male and female finishers in the 30 Miler receive custom handmade awards. Registrations made before June 16, 2026 are guaranteed a handmade medal.
Packet pickup is available Friday, July 10 at Helltown Brewing (13 Henry C Frick Street, Mt. Pleasant, PA) and the morning of the race at the start/finish. Pacers are not allowed except by race management on a case-by-case basis. No refunds are issued; transfers or one-year deferrals may be allowed under the published policies. The race uses a raccoon spirit animal and will feature a raccoon theme in swag and awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
