Co-op 5k
The Co-op 5k is a sporting event organized to support the Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF). The foundation focuses on grantmaking and programming to help the cooperative business community address societal challenges and improve economic opportunities. The race honors the legacy of Chuck Snyder and emphasizes the principles of cooperation and community concern.
Participants can choose between two main formats:
- 3.11 Miles (Live Run or Walk)
- 3.11 Miles (Virtual Run or Walk)
The live event takes place at Hains Point in Washington, DC. For those opting for the virtual format, results are accepted over a specified two-week period prior to the live race date. Registration includes a commemorative t-shirt, with sizes ranging from Unisex XS to 4XL and Women's S to 4XL. To ensure a preferred size, registration must be completed by mid-March; those who register after this date may receive a large t-shirt. The proceeds from the event contribute to cooperative development and educational programs across the United States. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
