5K Range Run & 1K Fun Run
The event features a USATF certified 5K run and a 1K fun run at Talladega Marksmanship Park, a rolling 500-acre park near I-20 located at 4387 Turner Mill Road, Talladega, AL 35160. The races benefit CMP Youth Marksmanship Programs and are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.

Entry details state the 5K fee is $18 before September 1 and $25 afterwards. Members of the Military and family, Anniston Runners Club, Birmingham Track Club, and Gadsden Runners Club have a $15 entry fee. The 1K Fun Run fee is $5. No discounts will be offered after September 1. Race fees are non-refundable and will be treated as a donation. T-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed before September 8. Door prizes are listed as part of the event offerings.
Packet pickup is available on September 23 at 1470 Sentinel Drive, Anniston, AL 36207, and at Talladega on September 26.
Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and medals for the top three males and females in age groups ranging from 9 and under up to 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
