Club Picnic Walk - Dairyland Walkers
The Club Picnic Walk takes place on August 12, 2026, at Lakeview Park, 6300 Mendota Ave, Middleton, WI. The event meeting and start point are at the park's large shelter.
This walk is a subset of the Middleton year-round event and follows trails in the Pheasant Branch Conservancy. There is no special stamp for this event; the regular Middleton stamp will be used.
The route includes a guided 5K walk and carries an AVA trail rating of 1B. A short business meeting will be held before a club potluck picnic that follows the walk. All walkers pay a $4 fee.
Amenities at the start/finish point include restrooms and water. Ample parking is available in the park. Pets are permitted on the walk.
Participants are asked to sign a liability waiver and to observe AVA Volkssport guidelines. Organizers and the starting point disclaim liability for accidents, thefts, personal injury, or material damage. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
