Clowbridge 5 km - Spring 1/3

The Clowbridge event is a trail race of 5 km run on a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway around Clowbridge Reservoir. The course comprises two laps of the trail path around the reservoir, run anticlockwise from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley BB11 5PF. The route has about 25 m of elevation gain over the 5 km and is described as fast and flat.

This race is the first of a three race Spring Series held on consecutive Thursdays: 16 April, 23 April and 30 April 2026. Entry for the event was open from 1 January 2026 and closed on 15 April 2026. The published entry fee is £6.50. The series offers prizes in each race and course marshals are provided. Organiser information indicates event licensing under ARC is pending and that monies from the series will be donated to local causes.
