Clowbridge 5k - Spring Series

The Clowbridge 5k is a trail running event held on a popular route located off the Pennine Bridleway. This specific race is the first installment of a three-part Spring Series, with successive events taking place on consecutive Thursdays throughout April. The course is situated around a reservoir and is designed for participants aged 11 and over.

The competition features a 5 km distance consisting of 2 laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, completed in an anti-clockwise direction. The route is described as fast and flat, featuring a total elevation gain of 25 meters over the full distance.

The event is hosted at the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road in Burnley. Facilities and logistical details include:
