Event Overview

The Clowbridge 5k - Spring 1/3 is a 5 km trail run on a route off the Pennine Bridleway. This event is the first race in a three-race Spring Series, with subsequent races scheduled for the two following Thursdays. The course is described as fast and flat with 25 meters of elevation over its distance. It involves two anti-clockwise laps on a trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, starting from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club.

Event Details

The event is open to participants aged 11 and over. It is a licensed event. Prizes are awarded in each race, and the course is well-marshalled. Parking is available locally, with suggestions to use the lower car park at the Sailing Club or the area at Limey Lane. Monies from the entire series will be donated to local causes.
