Clio Can Do 5K
The Clio Can Do 5K is a community 5K event held at Pride Stadium at Clio High School in Clio, Michigan. The course is paved and relatively flat, runs in part through Vienna Township roads, and finishes on the Pride Stadium football field near the 50 yard line. The event includes both running and walking options over the 3.1 mile distance and is presented as part of a local race series sponsored by Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network.
Registration is offered in two formats: an economy option and an all-inclusive option that includes a t-shirt and medal. Prices increase on set dates before the race and again on race day. Medals and a tech t-shirt are guaranteed for participants registered at least two weeks before the race date; additional medals may be available for purchase on race day while supplies last. Packet pickup and on-site registration are scheduled in the days leading up to the event.
Restroom facilities are available at the venue. Awards are given to the top male and female in each age group and to the top male and female overall for both running and walking events. The event is organized with support from five local nonprofit sponsors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
