Event overview
Cline Buttes is a nighttime trail running event held at 67585 SW Cline Falls Rd, Redmond, OR. The event offers multiple formats that take place overnight and into the following day. Distances and formats available include:

The event donates a portion of proceeds to the Mountain View High School cross-country team in Bend, Oregon. Participants under 18 may collect sponsors who contribute per lap or as a cumulative amount.
Course and format
The course is a roughly 3 mile loop. Each loop includes a 0.5 mile climb rising about 800 feet to the top of Cline Butte followed by a downhill section back to the start. Runners in the multi-hour events repeat the loop as many times as they choose within their race duration. The Last Person Standing format uses successive hourly starts and continues until only one participant remains. The 5k is a single loop.
Aid station and services
One main aid station will be located near the start/finish. Foods listed for longer events include snacks and meal options, and beverages include cola, ginger ale, broths, electrolyte packets, and coffee. Miscellaneous supplies will include first aid items, sunscreen, bug spray, feminine hygiene products, and vaseline. A breakfast buffet will be served to participants after the longest event ends.
Entry discounts and policies
Native American and Indigenous entries are free. Active military, veterans, and first responders are eligible for a 50% discount. Youth 18 and under receive 50% off distances above the 5k and 20% off the 5k. Refunds and bib transfers are not given except for pregnancy or postpartum rollovers to a future year.
