The festival is organized by Millennium Running and includes multiple race options over the weekend. The marathon is a USATF certified Boston qualifier course (FL21013JK). Courses and key information
Distances:
- 50k Ultra
- Marathon
- Half-Marathon
- 5k
All courses start and finish at Sand Key Park and pass views of Clearwater Beach, the Intracoastal, and the Gulf of Mexico. The marathon is a double loop of the half-marathon route that runs through Clearwater Beach, over the Clearwater Memorial Bridge into Old Clearwater, through Belleair, across the Belleair Causeway, and returns on Gulf Boulevard. The half-marathon is a single loop of that route. The 50k follows the marathon course with an added 2.5 mile out-and-back on the Pinellas Trail between miles 18.5 and 23.5. The 5k is an out-and-back crossing the Sand Key Bridge to Clearwater Beach and back.
Aid stations are placed along the courses: 15 for the marathon, 17 for the ultra, 7 for the half, and 1 for the 5k. Stations provide water, Gatorade, and portable toilets; GU is available at the Indian Rocks Rd station. Time limits are set for each event and pace cutoffs apply for marathon and ultra entries. Parking and shuttle services are provided near Sand Key Park and local hotels; runner drop-off is at the Sheraton Sand Key entrance rather than the park. Relay teams run two legs of roughly 6.5 miles and the relay field is limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
