2026 Claude Moore 5k & 10k
This event on June 13 takes place at Claude Moore Park in Sterling, VA. It offers two race distances:
- 5k
- 10k : two laps of the 5k course
The course is a loop through forest trails with some technical terrain and hills. The event is chip timed. Runners receive a finisher's medal and a technical event shirt. Walkers are welcome and a virtual race option is available.
Points earned at this event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series, and also toward the Spring Series. Live race results will be posted and final results with series points are published the Monday after the race. Runner tracking via SMS is available at registration.
Water stations are placed approximately at mile markers 1, 3.1 and 4.1 on the 10k course and at approximately mile marker 1 on the 5k course; Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located by the start and finish area. Packet pickup is available on race morning and there is race day registration; t-shirt sizes are not guaranteed for race day registrants.
