Classique du Parc La Fontaine : Circuit Endurance 2026
Classique du Parc La Fontaine offers multiple races around the pond and through the park on measured, certified courses. The event is organized by Les Francs Amis de Montréal and Club de ski de fond Montériski and holds a silver sanction from the provincial athletics federation.
Distances offered:
- 1 km (11 years and under)
- 2 km (youth and adults)
- 5 km

Runner services include traffic-secured courses, start mats for the 5 km and 10 km, kilometer markers, water points on the 5 km and 10 km courses, multiple outdoor portable toilets at start and finish areas, bag check, on-site first aid, changing facilities, and a post-race snack. The event uses BIBTAG technology; the timing chip is affixed behind the bib and the bib must be worn on the outside of clothing. Medals are awarded to the top three in each age group for all distances; participation medals are available and cash prizes are offered for top finishers in the 5 km and 10 km Express according to the announced scale. The courses include a light elevation of about 3 percent along the pond. Since 2024 participation limits are 1500 runners for the 5 km, 1500 for the 10 km, and 4000 overall.
