Clarke Ice Cream Run
The Clarke Ice Cream Run is an annual community event presented by Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech with Marble Slab Creamery and Great American Cookies at St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, FL. The event on April 3, 2027 features a timed 5K and a 1 Mile run/walk, a vendor area next to Maggiano's and Marble Slab Creamery, and activities to benefit students at Clarke Florida.
At the finish, participants receive a Marble Slab Creamery & Great American Cookie ice cream Doozie. Race awards include gift card prizes for the top three male and female 5K finishers and a Great American Cookie Cake prize for the best costume. A separate Kiddie Dash is offered free for Clarke students and requires registration.
Event organizers state that health and safety follow current CDC guidance and that walkers are permitted on the course. Strollers are allowed; scooters, bicycles, skateboards and pets are not permitted. All participants in the 5K, 1 Mile run/walk or Kiddie Dash must be registered, except infants or toddlers who remain in a stroller for the duration of a run/walk.
