Event overview
The 2nd Annual CK Racing Back to School 5K takes place on July 25, 2026 in Kokomo, IN. The event is a family run/walk held at Jackson Morrow Park, 2629 S 200 E, Kokomo 46902. It is organized to benefit local teachers, students, and schools. A school supply drop-off table will be available and all donations collected will go to the Education Foundation. Participants are encouraged to wear school colors or the colors of a favorite school. All finishers will receive a finisher medal. There is an option to purchase a shirt for an additional fee if ordered by the specified date; limited extras may be available on race day on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Logistics and fees
Registration opens January 1, 2026 at 12:00pm EST. Packet pickup is available on race day from 6:30am to 7:30am. Entry fees are tiered by age and the discount is applied at checkout:
- 18 and older: $15
- Ages 10 to 17: $10
- Age 9 and under: $5
The event will accept cash or check on race day. Examples of requested school supplies include pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, notebooks, folders, disinfectant wipes, and tissues. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
