2nd Annual CK Racing Back to School 5K
The event is a family fun run and walk held in Kokomo, Indiana, to benefit local teachers, students, and schools. All proceeds will go to the Kokomo Education Foundation. The event takes place at Jackson Morrow on July 25, 2026.
Entry fees are structured by age: adults 18 and over pay $15, youth ages 10 to 17 pay $10, and children 9 and under pay $5. A discount for club members is applied during checkout. Participants receive a finisher medal. There is an option to purchase a shirt for an additional cost if ordered by the specified deadline; any extras on race day will be available first come first serve while supplies last.
Awards are planned for 1st place adult male and female runners, 1st place adult male and female walkers, and 1st place under 18 male and female runners. Packet pickup will be available on race day and cash or check will be accepted at the event.
A school supply drop off table will be available for donations. Examples of needed supplies include pencils, colored pencils, crayons, washable markers, glue sticks, scissors, pencil pouches or boxes, spiral notebooks, folders, dry erase markers, highlighters, large pink erasers, rulers, tissues, and disinfectant wipes.
