Event Details and Logistics
The event allows participants with leashed dogs and strollers. Packet pick-up is available the day before the event at Beck's Research Building. Race day registration and packet pick-up are also available on the morning of the event. Age-group awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall and in specific age groups; virtual participants are not eligible for these awards.
Charity and Fundraising
Funds raised from this year's event will be split equally among 13 food assistance organizations across multiple states, including Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, South Dakota, Kansas, and Kentucky. The event also organizes a multi-state food drive leading up to race day. Over the past six years, the event has raised nearly $250,000 for various charitable causes.
Participant Information
Participant shirts are an orange, long-sleeve tech tee available in adult and youth sizes for the 5K events. Kids Fun Run participants receive a short-sleeve tech tee in youth sizes. Shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by May 14, 2026, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis after that date. Virtual participant packets are mailed during race week.
