CITY Sprint 5K
CITY Sprint is a 5K running event held on September 27, 2026, that travels through St. Louis CITY SC's stadium district and finishes inside Energizer Park. The course begins at Lou Fusz Plaza and routes through Downtown West with views of the team practice fields, the Washington University Orthopedics High Performance Center, CITY Pavilion, the club front office SoMa House, and the Pillars of the Valley monument to Mill Creek Valley before finishing under the stadium.
All participants receive a commemorative CITY Sprint T-shirt, a finisher's medal, race day photos, two CITY2 tickets, and access to post-race activities on Lou Fusz Plaza. The event is a timed race tracked by bib number and includes overall and age-group awards. Family and friends can watch finishers from the lower bowl inside Energizer Park. Jogging strollers are permitted and children riding in strollers do not need separate registration. There is no age limit for runners; T-shirt sizes range from youth medium through unisex XS to 3XL.
Packet pick-up is available the week before the race at CITY Pavilion and at Big River Running West County Store. Parking options include CITY Garage at 1950 Olive Street, Union Station via 18th Street, and free street parking in areas west of Energizer Park, north of Chestnut, or south of Clark Street. The race partner for operations is Big River Race Management. Participation is limited to the first 3,000 registrants and refunds are not offered, though bib transfers are available per event policy.
