Lincoln Marabank 2027 Saturday
Vigilantes Maravan CIC presents the Lincoln Marabank at Burton Waters near Lincoln. The event returns for a third year and uses a flat, traffic-free canal towpath alongside the Fossdyke. The course is measured and is suitable for lap-based running.
The event is a seven hour timed event where entrants may run as far as they wish within the time limit. Medals are awarded to everyone who completes at least one lap of the course. Marathon entrants may be offered an early start to allow extra running time and the course includes an approved marathon distance option that may be slightly over the standard length.
Support is provided under an ARC permit and the organiser will operate a well-stocked aid station on course. The event limits entries to 50 runners and sets a minimum age of 18 years. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £30.00 and Unaffiliated £32.00. Entries close on 20/02/2027 and transfers close on 20/02/2027. The organiser's terms state that entry fees are non-refundable, but transfers to another runner are possible with at least seven days' notice; exceptionally poor weather may allow deferral to the following year.
