City of Franklin Trick or Trot 5K

The City of Franklin Trick or Trot 5K & Pumpkin Dash is held in historic Downtown Franklin, Virginia (210 North Main Street). The event includes a 5K Trick or Trot and a 1.5-mile Pumpkin Dash open to all ages, offering a family-friendly, Halloween-themed atmosphere. The course runs from downtown Franklin through the city cemetery to the hospital and back.

Dress in costume is encouraged for the whole family as they walk, jog, or run this community-focused event. Proceeds benefit Franklin and Southampton County communities through United Way and the Department of Parks and Recreation. The race is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025.
