City of Edinburg Triathlon
The City of Edinburg Triathlon takes place on August 16, 2026 at Edinburg Parks & Rec in Edinburg, TX. The event offers three divisions with combined swim, bike, and run segments and has a listed registration fee of $30 for each division.
Registration opens June 3, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026; registration will also close earlier if the event reaches 500 participants. Shirt sizes are limited to the first 300 registrants. All participants receive a finisher medal. Age division awards are offered for the competitive division only.
Safety and equipment rules include mandatory helmets, and the prohibition of flotation devices and snorkeling devices.
Distances by division:
- Kids 12 and under: Swim 100 meters, Bike 4.5 miles, Run 1 mile
- Recreational 13 and up: Swim 100 meters, Bike 4.5 miles, Run 1 mile
- Competitive: Swim 200 meters, Bike 9 miles, Run 2 miles
