City of Edinburg Triathlon
The City of Edinburg Triathlon is the sixth annual event held on August 9, 2026 at Edinburg Parks & Rec, 315 Mark S Peña Dr., Edinburg, TX. The event is organized into three divisions with set swim, bike and run segments and a single registration fee.
Event divisions and distances:
- Kids 12 and under: 100 m swim, 4.5 mi bike, 1 mi run
- Recreational 13 and up: 100 m swim, 4.5 mi bike, 1 mi run
- Competitive: 200 m swim, 9 mi bike, 2 mi run
Registration opens June 17, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Registration will also close once the event reaches 320 participants. Shirt sizes are limited.
All participants will receive a finisher medal. Age division awards will be given for the competitive division only. Safety and equipment rules include mandatory helmets and a prohibition on flotation and snorkeling devices. No other participant contact details or race day schedule information is provided here.
