City of Edinburg Triathlon
The City of Edinburg Triathlon is scheduled for August 16, 2026 at Edinburg Parks & Rec in Edinburg, Texas. The event features three divisions with a single registration fee of $25. Registration opens June 3, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026. Registration will close early if the event reaches 320 participants. Shirt sizes are limited.
All participants receive a finisher medal. Age division awards are available for the competitive division only. Helmets are mandatory for the bike segment. The use of flotation devices or snorkeling equipment is not allowed.
Packet pick up is available on Thursday, August 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on the event day, Sunday, August 16 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.

- Kids 12 and under: Swim 100 meters, Bike 4.5 miles, Run 1 mile
- Recreational 13 and up: Swim 100 meters, Bike 4.5 miles, Run 1 mile
- Competitive: Swim 200 meters, Bike 9 miles, Run 2 miles
