True Love United Kicks 4 Kids
True Love United Kicks 4 Kids is a community running event at Pharr Sports Complex (south parking lot), 1901 S Cage Blvd, Pharr, TX. Proceeds will provide brand new back to school shoes for children in the Rio Grande Valley. True Love United works directly with school personnel to identify children who will benefit.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K with shirt and 5K without shirt
- 1 mile for kids with shirt and 1 mile without shirt
Registration opens April 14, 2026. Shirt registrations have an earlier deadline and the guaranteed shirt deadline is July 17, 2026; registrations after that date may not receive a shirt. Some no-shirt registration options remain open through August 7, 2026. Entry fees vary by distance and shirt option.
Each entry includes a finisher medal and age group awards and 5K entries are chip timed. Awards are given in male and female divisions. 5K age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. 1 mile age groups eligible for awards: 4-7, 8-12, 13-17.
