Citizens Run Against Cancer Half Marathon and 5K
The Citizens Run Against Cancer is the 10th annual fundraiser hosted by Citizens Medical Center on October 10, 2026 in Victoria, Texas (214 N. Main Street). The event raises funds that remain local to benefit patients who are battling cancer and is associated with the Kathryn O’Connor Regional Cancer Center. Since 2017 the event has raised more than $150,000 to support local cancer patients.
The event program includes multiple race options and a relay, a team contest and parade with awards for most spirited, creative name and best costume, and a race route that passes through Downtown Victoria, Riverside Park, and finishes at DeLeon Plaza. Organizers expect more than 1,500 participants, volunteers, and spectators.

Registration opens March 6, 2026 and closes September 21, 2026. Entry fees vary by event. The half marathon and the relay each have a four hour maximum time allowed. Packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the race at the Citizens HealthPlex, 9406 NE Zac Lentz Pkwy, Victoria, TX.
