Cirque Series - Jay Peak
This mountain trail race takes place at Jay Peak, Vermont on Sept 26, 2026. The course is listed as 7.1 miles with approximately 3,044 ft of vertical gain. The event is capped at 500 runners and is located within Jay State Forest.
The course starts at Tramside beside the tram dock and follows a sequence of ski runs, service roads, and single-track trail. The route is marked with orange flagging and participants are required to follow the flagged path. There is a strict summit cut-off time of 2:00 hrs after which competitors will take the tram back down; this cutoff may be adjusted the week of the race. A no passing zone applies on the Long Trail summit ridge for 0.15 miles. If an injured competitor is encountered, inform the nearest course marshal, EMT, Jay Peak Patrol, or rescue services.
