Circleville Classic 5K Run/Walk
The Circleville Classic returns for its 39th year with both physical and virtual participation options in Circleville, Ohio. The event structure focuses on safety and community support, with proceeds benefiting the Circleville High School Athletic Department and Alumni Association. While historically featuring a longer route, the in-person event has transitioned to a shorter distance to manage traffic concerns during local festivities.
The in-person course is located around Circleville High School and utilizes the Roundtown Trail. Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 5K (In-person)
- 5K (Virtual)
- 5 Mile (Virtual)
Registration for the in-person race must be completed in advance, as there is no registration available on the day of the event. Participants at the physical site have the option to purchase short sleeve or long sleeve t-shirts via cash or check. For those participating in the virtual categories, shirts can be mailed after the completion of the event.
The scheduling of the run coincides with the 119th Circleville Pumpkin Show, allowing participants to visit the downtown festivities following their run or walk.
