Event Overview
The Cinnamon Bun 5K/10K & 2K PupStrut takes place at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This spring event features a flat and fast course designed for various participation styles, including running, jogging, and walking. The 2026 edition introduces a specific category for participants and their dogs.
The event offers three distinct distances:

- 2k PupStrut walk
Registered participants for the 5k, 10k, or 2k events receive a race shirt if they register by March 8, 2024. Every finisher is awarded a unique medal and a fresh, warm cinnamon bun upon completion of their course. Canine participants also receive a special treat. This event does not provide time-based awards, as the focus is on a family-oriented experience.
The race is held rain, snow, or shine. It supports The Andreas Foundation, an organization established in 2024 to provide support and information for families affected by neonatal encephalopathy.
