About the race
The Cinco de Miler is an annual 5 mile road race in Chicago held on May 8, 2027 at Montrose Harbor. The event combines the distance run with a post-race celebration on site.
Racers finish under a three-story piñata arch and can visit the Cinco de Miler Cantina after the race. The post-race area features Mexican treats, ice-cold Mexican Mules and beer, and live mariachi music.
Registration includes exclusive swag, a commemorative finisher’s medal that doubles as a bottle opener, Mexican treats, a live mariachi band, one complimentary beer or Mule for participants 21 and older, free race photos, and access to the post-race fiesta. The race course is professionally managed and races are professionally timed. A virtual participation option is also available.
