Run Turkey Run - Burlington
The 17th annual Run Turkey Run is a Thanksgiving Day 5K event held at England-Idlewild Park in Burlington, KY. The event includes both a 5K run and a 5K walk on an out-and-back course located entirely within the park. Free parking is available at the venue.

Registration is online only for 2026. Early registration pricing through November 15, 2026 is $30 for adults and $20 for kids 14 and under; prices increase after that date to $35 for adults and $25 for kids 14 and under. T-shirts are optional and available for $15 while supplies last. All pre-registered entries with a valid email address receive an email confirmation.
The race will use MyLaps Bib Tag chip timing and chips do not need to be returned. Finisher medals are awarded to the first 250 finishers. Top three overall male and female finishers receive a turkey. Results and age group awards will be posted online and the awards ceremony follows the race.
Proceeds support the Burlington Student Mission Projects and participants are asked to consider bringing canned or non-perishable food items for the Saving Grace Food Pantry. There is no early packet pick up for this event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
