Cincinnati Dragons 5K - Hamilton, Ohio
The Cincinnati Dragons 5K is the fourth annual community running event held at Rentschler Forest MetroPark in Hamilton, Ohio on August 29, 2026. The program includes timed and untimed options and a virtual option, with commemorative T-shirts offered in unisex and youth sizes.

Timed events on paved surfaces use chip timing provided by GHG Timing. Awards are presented for top finishers in the 5K and wheelchair divisions, including Top 3 Overall males and females, Top 3 Overall wheelchair males and females, and first place in each age group category for males and females. Free race photos, food, and fellowship are part of the event experience. Packet pickup is available on race day starting at 8:00 AM. A referral reward offers a $20 refund after referring five friends or family.
The Kid's 1/4 Mile Dash is free for children 9 and under. Each child receives a finisher's medal; there is no official timing or awards for this dash. Parents may add a commemorative race T-shirt for a $10 add-on.
The event benefits the Greater Cincinnati Adaptive Sports Club, a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run organization that provides adapted sports opportunities, equipment, and travel support to minimize financial barriers for athletes with disabilities.
