Mexico Chamber of Commerce 35th Cider Run
The event is the 35th edition of the Cider Run, held in the Village of Mexico, New York on September 13, 2026. The race begins and ends at Mexico Academy and Central Schools High School, an occasion that also marks the school’s Bicentennial.
The course starts on the high school track, follows village streets and includes the following sequence of turns: left onto Liberty Street, left onto Spring Street, right onto Lincoln Avenue, a descent down Munger Hill, right onto Wayne Street, right back onto Spring Street, left onto North Jefferson Street, right onto Clinton Street, and left onto Liberty Street before returning to the high school. Runners finish with a partial lap around the high school track.
The event features a single distance: 5K. Registration opens June 1, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026, with a listed registration fee of $35.00. After the race there are refreshments including fresh donuts, awards, and other Cider Run festivities.
