Cider Mill Road Race
The Cider Mill Road Race is a multi-event running day held at Crandall Park in Tolland, Connecticut. The event program includes three distances and uses both grassy fields and wooded trails around the park.
- 100 yards, kids fun runs on grassy soccer fields
- 1 mile, cross-country route through wooded trails at Crandall Park
- 5K, closed-road 3.1 mile course beginning on Cider Mill Road and ending at Crandall Park
Pre-registration is required; there is no race day registration. Entry fees listed in the event materials are $12.00 for the kids fun runs and the one-mile race plus a $2.22 processing fee, and $30.00 for the 5K plus a $3.30 processing fee. Bib and t-shirt pick up instructions are provided by email, and on-site parking and bib/t-shirt pick up are available before the races. T-shirts are offered to runners who pre-register.
Awards are given to the top ten overall finishers for both the 5K and the one-mile race. Awards and the ceremony are held under the pavilion. Post-race refreshments include water, bananas, and granola-type bars. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
