Event overview

The Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at Bluhm County Park in Westville, Indiana. The event is presented as an endurance loop run where participants complete repeated laps of the same trail. The event listing shows five participants registered at the time of the posting.

Race format and rules

The trail loop is 4–4.1 miles with a small pavement section. Organizers start the clock every hour and each runner must finish the current loop within one hour; runners who do not finish a loop within that hour are removed from the race. No human or animal pacers are allowed. Winners are determined by who runs the final loop the fastest.

Runners receive a limited-edition t-shirt and a wooden Chupacabra medal. Crew space is available at the shelter, and Gatorade, water, and snacks will be provided at the start/finish area.

Chips and prizes

Chips are issued only after completing four loops. Loop-to-chip color mapping is: 4–6 loops earn red chips; 7–9 loops earn blue chips. Red chips can be exchanged for shirts, a coffee mug, and other items from previous series events. Blue chips can be exchanged for various gift cards or free entries to Crazy Legs Race Series events, using prize tables with matching tablecloth colors.

Registration uses tiered pricing with listed early-bird and later rates. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
