Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run
The event takes place on August 29, 2026, at Bluhm County Park, South 1100 West, Westville, IN. It is a timed endurance run set up as a looped trail course.
Format and rules
The course is a trail loop of about 4-4.1 miles with a small pavement section. The event runs on an hourly clock - the clock is started every hour and runners must complete the loop within that hour or they are removed from the race. Winners are determined by who runs the final loop the fastest. No human or animal pacers are allowed; violation results in disqualification.
There is space at the shelter for crew stations. Gatorade, water, and snacks will be provided at the start/finish area. Participants receive a limited-edition t-shirt and a Chupacabra wooden medal.
Prizes and registration
Participants receive timing chips only after completing four loops. Chip colors correspond to completed loops: red for four to six loops and blue for seven to nine loops. Colored chips can be exchanged at prize tables; red chip items include shirts and a coffee mug, and blue chip items include gift cards and free entries for Crazy Legs Race Series events.
Registration fees are listed as inclusive of mandatory charges and range from about $66.18 to $103.63 depending on registration period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
