Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run
The event is a timed endurance run on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Bluhm County Park, South 1100 West, Westville, IN. The format is a 10-hour event in which participants run repeated trail loops. Loop length is 4-4.1 miles with a small pavement section.
Format and rules
The clock is started every hour and runners have one hour to complete each loop. Runners who do not finish a loop within that hour are removed from the race. Winners are determined by who runs the final loop the fastest. No human or animal pacers are allowed; violating this rule results in disqualification. Participants may set up a crew station at the shelter. Gatorade, water, and snacks will be provided.
Prizes and registration
Runners receive a limited-edition t-shirt and a wooden Chupacabra medal. Timing chips are issued only after completing four loops. Chip colors and prize tiers: red chips for completing 4 to 6 loops, blue chips for completing 7 to 9 loops. Chips are exchanged at prize tables; red-chip items include shirts, mugs, and past event merchandise. Blue-chip prizes include gift cards and may include free entries for Crazy Legs Race Series events. Registration fees vary by date with multiple pricing tiers listed.
