Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run
The Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run is an endurance event held at Bluhm County Park, South 1100 West, Westville, IN. The course is based on a loop of about 4.1-mile length. Organizers run the clock each hour; participants must complete the current loop within one hour or they are removed from the race.
Runners receive a limited-edition t-shirt. After completing four loops, participants earn chips that are exchanged at prize tables. Red chips are awarded for completing 4, 5, or 6 loops; blue chips are awarded for completing 7, 8, or 9 loops. Prize tables use matching tablecloth colors; red table items include shirts and mugs from prior events, while blue table items include various prizes and free entries for Crazy Legs Race Series events. Winners are determined by who runs the final loop the fastest.
No pacers are allowed, human or animal; violating this rule results in disqualification. There is room at the shelter for individual crew stations. Gatorade, water, and snacks will be provided. Due to storm damage on August 11, 2026, the trail system was unusable that year; organizers hope to be back on the dirt trail system in 2027.
