Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run
The event is a timed endurance run held at Bluhm County Park in Westville, IN. It uses a trail loop of about 4 to 4.1 miles with a short pavement section. The format measures progress by loop: the clock starts every hour and participants must complete that loop within the hour or they are removed from the race.
Organizers determine final placings by who runs the final loop the fastest. No pacers are allowed, either human or animal; violating this rule results in disqualification. The start and finish area includes space for individual crew stations at the park shelter. Gatorade, water, and snacks are provided at the event.
Participants receive a limited edition t-shirt and a wooden Chupacabra medal. Prize distribution uses a chip system: chips are issued only after a participant completes four loops. Completing four to six loops earns red chips, and completing seven to nine loops earns blue chips. Chips are redeemable at prize tables that include items such as shirts, a coffee mug, gift cards, and free entries for future series events.
Registration is tiered with multiple price periods. Participants are asked to read the event rules to understand the format and requirements. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
