Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run
The Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run takes place on August 29, 2026, at Bluhm County Park in Westville, IN. The event uses a repeated trail loop and runs for a ten hour period.
The trail loop measures about 4–4.1 miles and includes a short pavement section. Organizers start the clock every hour; each runner has one hour to complete the loop. If a runner does not finish the loop within that hour they are ousted from the race. Winners are determined by who completes the final loop the fastest.
No human or animal pacers are allowed; violating this rule results in disqualification. The start and finish area includes a shelter where participants may set up a personal crew station. Gatorade, water and snacks are provided at the venue.
Runners receive a limited edition t-shirt and a wooden Chupacabra medal. A chip system awards chips only after a runner completes four loops: red chips for four to six loops and blue chips for seven to nine loops. Chips are exchanged at prize tables that match chip colors. Red table items include shirts, a coffee mug and items from previous Crazy Legs Race Series events. Blue table items include various prizes and free entries for Crazy Legs Race Series events.
The event references the Chupacabra legend and the idea of cryptozoology as part of its theme. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
