Chupacabra Endurance 10-hour Run : event details
The event is a timed endurance run held at Bluhm County Park in Westville, Indiana on August 29, 2026. Runners complete repeated trail loops of about 4 to 4.1 miles with a small pavement section.
The clock starts every hour and runners must complete the current loop within that hour. If a runner does not finish a loop within the hour they are removed from the race. Winners are determined by who runs the final completed loop the fastest.
Participants receive a limited-edition t-shirt and a wooden Chupacabra medal. Competitors receive racing chips only after completing four loops. Complete 4, 5, or 6 loops earns a red chip for each loop; complete 7, 8, or 9 loops earns a blue chip for each loop. Chips can be exchanged at prize tables where tablecloth colors match chip colors. The red chip table offers shirts, a coffee mug, and items from previous Crazy Legs Race Series events. The blue chip table offers various gift cards and free entries for Crazy Legs Race Series events.
No human or animal pacers are allowed; violation leads to disqualification. Crew stations can be set up at the shelter in the start and finish area. Gatorade, water, and snacks will be provided at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
