T'was a few nights after Christmas Night Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Blanchard, Louisiana (ZIP 71009). The event is based at 1 North Trails and offers night-time outdoor running and a ruck on local trails and a paved loop. A light source is mandatory for participation; headlamps are recommended. The event includes multiple distance options:
- 7 miles on single-track mountain bike trail
- 4.5 miles paved Soda Lake loop
- 4.5 miles ruck on the Soda Lake loop
Additional route details: the single-track trail is roughly 7 miles and described as rolling with very little roots or debris. The Soda Lake loop is paved for its full distance. The ruck requires a minimum weight of 35 lbs to qualify and follows the same 4.5 mile route as the Soda Lake loop. Entry fee for each event is listed as $25. Price increases after December 20, 2025.
