Phoenix Running - Freddo Mercury: We Will, We Will, Run You

This is a timed running event on Sunday 14 June 2026 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Walton on Thames, Surrey. The course is a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back along the riverside towpath beside the River Thames. The terrain is off road trail with no overall elevation gain or loss.

Participants can choose how many laps to complete on the 5.3 km loop. The event operates a flexible rock up and run format within a 1.5 hour start window and uses a seven hour overall time limit for each participant. A bespoke finishers' medal is provided to participants who complete a lap, and there is also a lower cost no medal entry option.

Support services include aid stations, same day results, athlete profiles, digital BIBs, and digital finishers certificates. Entry fees vary by affiliation status and there is a separate no medal price. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. Places are strictly limited.
