Christmas 5K/10K/Half Marathon in July - Albuquerque
The event is a Christmas in July themed race held on July 12, 2026 at Mariposa Basin Park in Albuquerque. The event offers three in-person distances and a virtual option.

The course is described as flat and fast. Self-serve water stations are located approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants who prefer not to stop may bring personal hydration. Participants must maintain at least a 16 minute per mile pace; the course will close 3.5 hours after the event start.
All athletes who finish will receive a custom finisher medal and a race-themed shirt, with shirt sizes guaranteed for those registered by July 1. Awards will be presented to men and women in five-year age groups, beginning at 10 and under.
Registration is offered in regular, late, and race day phases, with different fees for each phase. A virtual race option allows participants to run or walk at a location of their choice, submit results online, and still be eligible for awards. Virtual results are posted after the event date.
