About the race
The Chippenham Spring 10 Mile takes place on Sunday 7 March 2027 in Chippenham, Wiltshire. The measured road race is based on High Street in Chippenham and uses quiet country roads around the town.
The 10 miles course starts and finishes on High Street and is described as predominantly fast and flat. The course is officially measured and registered with UKA Run Britain, with distance markers every mile.
Race services include chip timing, pacers offered from 60 minutes through to 120 minutes, three water stations located at 3, 5.5 and 6.8 miles, on site coffee and cakes, sports massage, race photography, on site toilets and a medal for all finishers. For an extra fee the medal can be personalised using iTaB. Certificate of Course Accuracy number is 25/559 and the race permit number is listed as TBC. Klarna is available as a payment option.
Parking is available in town centre car parks a short walk from the start and finish including Bath Road SN15 2SA and the Train Station SN15 3QQ; detailed parking information is sent to entrants in advance. There are no official cut off times but marshals are removed from the course after 2.5 hours and participants taking longer will need to make their own way back. The organisers thank the Chippenham Lions Club for marshalling support. Local cafes and pubs around the race village are noted as dog friendly.
