Chippenham Harriers River Run 5k & Fun Run 2k : 01 July 2026
The River Run comprises two evening races that take place in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Both races follow a largely traffic free multi-terrain route along the banks of the River Avon, with the course starting and finishing in Monkton Park near the Olympiad Leisure Centre. The event is organised by Chippenham Harriers and operates under ARC rules (ARC race permit 26/0579).

The 5k is open to entrants aged 13 and over. The 2k Fun Run is for children aged 4 to 15. Prizes are awarded in age categories for both races. All 5k finishers receive a technical T-shirt produced in a new colour for 2026. All Fun Run finishers receive a medal.
Entry fees are listed for affiliated and unaffiliated runners and for the Fun Run; additional administration fees apply for online entries. Online entries normally close on 28 June unless the race fills earlier. On-the-day entries may be available for both races subject to availability and are payable by cash and card. Participants enter at their own risk and the organisers are not responsible for injuries or loss of property. In the event of cancellation for reasons outside the organisers control, refunds will not be possible.
