Chippenham Harriers River Run 5k and Fun Run 2k : 1 July 2026
The River Run is an evening community running event on 1 July 2026 that follows a largely traffic free, multi‑terrain route along the banks of the River Avon. The course starts and finishes in Monkton Park, near the Olympiad Leisure Centre in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

The 5k is open to anyone aged 13 and over. The Fun Run is for children aged 4 to 15 years. Prizes are awarded in age categories for both races. All 5k finishers receive a tech T shirt in a new colour for 2026; all Fun Run finishers receive a medal.
Entry fees are listed as £10 (affiliated) and £12 (unaffiliated) for the 5k, and £5 for the Fun Run. An additional administration fee applies for online entries. Online entries close on 28 June unless the race is full; very few entries remain and there will be no on‑the‑day entries if the event is full.
The race operates under ARC rules (ARC race permit 26/0579). Entrants participate at their own risk and the organisers are not responsible for injuries or loss of property. Refunds are not possible if the event is cancelled for reasons outside the organisers control.
