Chippenham Harriers River Run 5k & Fun Run 2k 2026
The River Run takes place on 01 July 2026 in Chippenham, Wiltshire. The route follows a largely traffic free multi-terrain course along the banks of the River Avon, with start and finish in Monkton Park near the Olympiad Leisure Centre.
Distances
- 5k River Run, open to ages 13 and over
- 2k Fun Run, for ages 4 to 15
Prizes are awarded in age categories for both races. All 5k finishers receive a tech T shirt in a new 2026 colour. All Fun Run finishers receive a medal.
Entry fees are stated as £10 for affiliated 5k entries, £12 for unaffiliated 5k entries, and £5 for the Fun Run. Online entries close on 28 June 2026 unless the race is already full, and an additional administration fee applies to online entries. On-the-day entries may be available for both races, cash and card accepted, unless already full. ARC rules apply.
Participants enter at their own risk; the organisers are not responsible for injuries or loss of property. In the event of cancellation for reasons outside the organisers control, refunds will not be possible.
