Chiltern Ridge Classic 50k
Chiltern Ridge Classic 50K is an iconic ultra in the Chiltern Hills, tracing ridgeline trails between Ivinghoe Beacon and Whiteleaf Hill. The race starts from Berkhamsted Castle and finishes at Hampden Meadow in Wendover, following the Ridgeway National Trail via Ashridge Estate and viewpoints such as Coombe Hill and Whiteleaf Hill. The route is about 51 km with around 996 m of ascent, fully marked with orange arrows and marshals; aid stations at roughly 15, 29, and 43 km, plus satellite water points in hot weather.
