Chilmark Road Race 5K
The Chilmark Road Race is a 5K running event held on August 8, 2026, at the Chilmark Community Center on State Road in Chilmark, Massachusetts. The event includes a race entry option and a separate "store only" option for purchasing race merchandise without registering for the race.
Registration opens July 1. Entries are subject to an overall limit of 1,600 runners and may close earlier if the field fills. The race store remains open for purchases through August 3. Entry fees are $35 for participants ages 12 and older and $25 for ages 11 and younger. Processing and transaction fees apply; per-transaction charges include a $1 fee plus a percentage that varies by transaction amount.
Entry fee includes a race t-shirt and a personalized bib for entries completed prior to July 20. All pre-ordered merchandise, race shirts, bibs, and race information must be picked up at the Community Center; no shipping is available. Check-in is scheduled the evening before and the morning of the event.
Prizes will be awarded to men and women by age groups: 8 years and under; 9 to 11; 12 to 16; 17 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 to 79; 80 to 89; and 90 and over. Net proceeds benefit the Chilmark Community Center. There are no refunds and no exchanges or transfers without express permission of the race director.
