Event

Chilly Cheeks is a 5K run/walk held on October 3, 2026, at Star Ranch in McDade, Texas (166 Eely Road, 78650). The event takes place on the grounds of Star Ranch, a nudist resort operating in Central Texas since 1957. The event is clothing-optional. Participation is limited to 200 entrants and all participants must pre-register; background checks are required for registrants. The race is listed as part of the A.A.N.R. Southwest Nude Racing Series and does not require prior race participation.

Course and on-site details

The course covers about five kilometers. The first 3K runs through open pastures and shaded woodland trails. The final 2K follows sand and gravel paths past cabins and cottages and finishes at the ranch pool. After the finish there is a light meal off the grill. New additions this year include karaoke, pickleball, cornhole, free individual photos, and a food truck. Parking and on-site check-in are handled at the ranch location.
