First Capital Triathlon - Mini
The First Capital Triathlon - Mini is held in downtown Chillicothe around Yoctangee Park, the 50 meter city pool, and the Paint Creek Recreational Trail. The course combines a pool swim, an out-and-back bike leg on the recreational trail, and an out-and-back run along the same trail.

- 6.2 mi Bike
- 1.6 mi Run
The transition area is in the parking lot near the main parking lot entrance by the pool house. The swim is conducted as a serpentine swim in the city pool.
The bike course leaves the parking lot onto Back Road, then enters the Paint Creek Recreational Trail heading West. Riders are instructed to stay right at trail forks, turn left at Larrick Lane and continue uphill to the turnaround point where the trail resumes.
The run course also leaves the parking lot onto Back Road but enters the trail heading East. Runners complete an out-and-back segment and turn around at the wooden staircase by The Pump House Art Gallery.
