CHILL Plunge Back to School 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The event takes place in Cape Coral at Rotary Park on August 22, 2026, and is organized in collaboration with CHILL Cold Plunge Studio and the Cape Coral Police Athletic League. It brings together a timed 5K and a noncompetitive 1 mile run/walk that begin and end at Rotary Park in the Rose Garden neighborhood.
Race offerings include:
- 5K - chip timed event
- 1 Mile - fun run/walk
Participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom event t shirt. CHILL provides free cold plunges after the race. Sponsor swag and giveaways are available while supplies last. Fleet Feet Fort Myers will raffle two pairs of running shoes and several swag bags to participants.
Awards are given for overall finishers by male and female placements and for age groups using net chip times. Age group categories include 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit Cape Coral Police Athletic League youth programs. Packet pickup is available the day before at CHILL Cold Plunge Studio and on race day at Rotary Park.
