CHILL Plunge Back to School 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
This event brings a timed 5K and a 1-mile fun run together at Rotary Park in Cape Coral. It is organized in collaboration with CHILL, a local cold plunge studio, and the Cape Coral Police Athletic League. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit Cape Coral Police Athletic League youth programs.
Race offerings include:
- 5K chip timed
- 1 Mile fun run/walk
Participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom event t-shirt. Sponsor swag and giveaways will be available while supplies last. CHILL provides free cold plunges after the race and offers additional wellness and recovery experiences on site.
The 5K has overall awards by gun time and age group awards using net chip time. Age group categories start at 0–9 and continue by decade up to 70+. Packet pickup is available the day before at CHILL Cold Plunge Studio and the morning of the event at Rotary Park. Both race routes begin and end at Rotary Park and showcase the Rose Garden neighborhood. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
