CHILL Plunge Back to School 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The CHILL Plunge Back to School 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place at Rotary Park in Cape Coral on August 22, 2026. The event is organized in collaboration with CHILL Cold Plunge Studio and the Cape Coral Police Athletic League and directs a portion of proceeds to youth programs run by the league.
Distances offered:
- 5K run, chip timed
- 1 Mile fun run/walk
Participants can use free cold plunges after the race provided by CHILL. All participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom event t-shirt. Sponsor swag and giveaways will be available while supplies last. Fleet Feet Fort Myers will raffle running shoes and swag bags. The Only Way Coffee will serve specialty coffee available for purchase.
CHILL describes its studio amenities as cold tubs, Cryolounge recovery, float pods, hydromassage therapy, supplements, InBody scans, and Red Light Therapy. CHILL is located next to HOTWORX North Cape and HOTWORX Chiquita.
Packet pickup is scheduled at CHILL Cold Plunge Studio on the Friday before the event and on race day at Rotary Park. A school supply drive will run during packet pickup in partnership with Edgewood Academy; donors who bring at least one supply item will be entered into a raffle for two weeks of unlimited access to CHILL recovery amenities.
