Chili Peppers Series - Day 1 and Day 2
The Chili Peppers Series is a two day set of races in Las Cruces, New Mexico, held on March 14 and March 15, 2026. The event is based on West Picacho Avenue with the start location at La Llorona Park, Picacho Avenue. GPS coordinates for the start area are N 32.31055 W 106.82677.
The course is USATF certified and listed as a Boston qualifying course. It runs on paved surfaces with a crushed gravel lane alongside and follows an out-and-back layout of 1.1 miles out, then back. A Super Aid Station is positioned to be passed multiple times on the course. Organizers state there is no formal time limit and that walkers are welcome.
Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the races at La Llorona Park and also at the start area on race day. An optional early start is offered for half marathon and longer distances; participants who choose the early start should plan accordingly. Pets are not allowed, and strollers are permitted for small children.
Typical temperatures for the event are listed as a low of 41 and a high of 73. Registration updates for 2026 include a promotion: registrants for Day 1 receive a 10 percent discount code for Day 2.
