Chigger Chase - Ardmore Regional Park
Chigger Chase is a community running event held at Ardmore Regional Park on November 14, 2026. The course runs through the Festival of Lights and includes a mix of timed and untimed events suitable for families and community groups.
The event program includes:
- 0.5 Miles - Children's Run, untimed, for kids up to age 12, starting with the Chigger at an inflated start line.
- 1 Mile - Fun Run/Walk, untimed, through the Festival of Lights.
- 5K - Timed run on a paved out-and-back course through the lights. Additional activities include a celebratory Girls on the Run 5K and a short Mascot Race.
Registration fees listed in the event details are $20.00 for the Children's Run and $35.00 for the 5K and 1-Mile events. Packet pickup is available the day before at The Clubhouse and on race day at the event pavilion. Register by October 29 to guarantee a souvenir race shirt.
Proceeds benefit Ardmore Regional Park. Funds are intended for projects such as a refreshed main entrance, new pickleball courts and restrooms, low-cost community programs, ongoing programming and improvements, and splash pad planning.
