Chigger Chase is an evening running event at Ardmore Regional Park in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The event takes place during the Festival of Lights and includes timed and untimed running opportunities for children and adults. Events listed include a paved out-and-back 5K that is timed, a 1-mile fun run or walk that is untimed, and a half-mile Children's Run for participants age 12 and under. A Girls on the Run Celebratory 5K is included as an untimed event for Girls on the Run families and supporters. A Mascot Race is also part of the program.
Packets are available the Friday before the event at The Clubhouse and on race day while registration remains open. Registrations open in late August; a T-shirt size guarantee requires registration by October 29.
Proceeds from the event support Ardmore Regional Park projects and programs, including entrance improvements, new pickleball courts, restroom work, and splash pad planning.
