Chief Frantz Red Run 5k
The Chief Frantz Red Run 5k returns for its 12th annual edition in Rice Lake, Minnesota. This community event serves as a fundraiser for the Rice Lake Firefighters' Relief Association. The organization supports a volunteer fire department dedicated to providing fire, medical, and emergency services to the City of Rice Lake and surrounding areas in the northeastern region of the state.
Participants can choose from the following activities:
- 5k running or walking race
- Hiti Hustle obstacle course designed for children
The event features various family-oriented activities and a selection of food. A raffle with multiple prizes is included as part of the day's program. Participants who complete their registration by June 26th are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, July 17th, and again on the morning of the race. Designated parking for all attendees is located at the Family of God Church. The net proceeds from the registration fees are used to assist the volunteer fire department in its mission to minimize the loss of life and property.
