2026 Chickahominy Chase 5k & 10k
The Chickahominy Chase is scheduled for March 21 at Chickahominy Riverfront Park in Williamsburg, VA. The start and finish are located at the park along the Virginia Capital Trail with views of the Chickahominy River.

Both the 5k and 10k use out-and-back courses on a flat, paved route with no major hills. Water stations are placed along the courses: one station on the 5k at mile 1.55, and three stations on the 10k at miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Portajohns are onsite.
Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before March 11; additional shirts may be available afterward on a first-come first-served basis. A virtual race option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person.
The event awards the top three men and women overall and awards first and second place in standard age groups. Top three overall finishers are not eligible for age-group awards. Live results are posted on Athlinks and final results with series points are published the Monday after the race. Runner tracking via SMS and a QR code at the event are available for race updates.
This event benefits the Semper Fi & America’s Fund and contributes points to the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series, as well as the Spring Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
