Event details
The Chickahominy Chase is a 5k and 10k running event on March 21, 2026 at Chickahominy Riverfront Park in Williamsburg, VA (1350 John Tyler Hwy). Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Spring Series. A virtual race option is available. The event benefits Semper Fi & America’s Fund.

Registration fees and deadlines are listed for each distance: early prices through February 28 are $30 for the 5k and $45 for the 10k, with higher rates thereafter; prices increase again on race morning by $5. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before March 11.
Course, services and results
Both courses are out-and-back on a flat, paved route along the Virginia Capital Trail with views of the Chickahominy River. The event is chip timed and provides a finisher’s medal and a technical event shirt. Water stations: one on the 5k route at mile 1.55; three on the 10k route at miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Portajohns are onsite. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered; t-shirt sizes for race day registrants cannot be guaranteed.
Live results will be posted online and via a QR code at the event; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. Runner tracking via SMS is available during registration.
Awards and logistics
Top three men and women overall receive awards. Age-group awards are given for 19&Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ with first and second places in each group; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group awards.
