  • 8k

The 10 mile course is a loop a little over 10 miles with about 700 ft of elevation gain per loop. It includes roughly seven miles of single-track mountain bike trail, about two miles of paved surface, and some doubletrack. The course is technical with rolling terrain and switchbacks. There are three aid stations at 3.5, 4.8 and 8.5 miles. The 10 mile is offered as a competitive run (Saturday) and a noncompetitive hike (Sunday). There is no time limit and participants may walk or run in noncompetitive events.

The 8k follows the first four-ish miles of the 10 mile course, mostly single track and finishing with about one mile of doubletrack. Trails include roots and inclines. One aid station is located at 3.5 miles. The 8k noncompetitive hike is on Saturday and the competitive 8k is on Sunday. Educational talks and exercise classes are scheduled both days and are open to race participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
