Women's Trail Festival 8k Run/Hike
The Women's Trail Festival is scheduled for April 4, 2027 in Williamsburg, Virginia at Freedom Park (5537 Centerville Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185). The event features a 8k (5 miles) trail run or hike on a course that includes approximately four miles of narrow single track mountain bike trails and about one mile of mixed double track and paved trail.
Trail conditions include roots and rolling terrain with occasional steep sections. There will be one aid station located at 3.5 miles. The event has no time cutoff and allows participants to hike, ruck, or run.
The day's program includes packet pick up, the trail event, post-event snacks, and afternoon talks and classes focused on women's health. Box lunches are available for purchase during registration and must be pre-ordered; the cutoff to order a T shirt and/or lunch is March 17. T shirts are not included with registration but can be purchased during checkout, and a limited number of last year’s shirts will be available for purchase on a first come basis.
All finishers receive a finisher medal. Men may register and volunteers are requested to support participants on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
