Chick-fil-A 10k/5k
The Chick-fil-A 10k/5k is scheduled for May 23, 2026 in Newport News, VA, with the event base at 100 Museum Dr. The program includes three races and a post event area with activities for families.

All three races use all-paved routes. The 10k and 5k pass through the Mariners' Museum, Lion's Bridge, Riverside Drive and along the James River on a USATF certified course described as smooth and easy to follow. The organizer notes the courses are suitable for both runners and walkers.
After the races there is a Post Party and a Family Fun Zone with activities for attendees. The event is in its 19th year and includes a partnership with the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank to support local meal efforts.
