Chick-fil-A 10k/5k
The Chick-fil-A 10k/5k is scheduled for May 29, 2027 in Newport News, Virginia, at 100 Museum Dr. The event is presented as a race series that includes a short fun run and two road races, and it marks the 20th annual edition.

All three events use all-paved courses. The 10k and 5k routes pass through the Mariners' Museum, Lions Bridge, Riverside Drive and run along the James River. The 10k/5k course is USATF certified and described as smooth and easy to follow, and the events are open to runners and walkers.
After the races there is a post party and a Family Fun Zone with activities for families. The event partners with the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank and aims to help provide 20,000 meals to the community. Donations to the Foodbank are accepted during online registration and at packet pickup.
