Supertri Chicago - August 22-23, 2026
Supertri Chicago is a multi-distance triathlon held on the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago. The event spans a weekend and includes swim, bike, and run courses that use lakefront locations and city streets.
Swim courses start in Lake Michigan with Sprint and Olympic athletes beginning in Monroe Harbor. Saturday SuperSprint and kids races swim at Foster Beach. Bike routes for Sprint and Olympic athletes include Lakeshore Drive, Lower Wacker Drive (underground), and the McCormick Place Busway. Saturday SuperSprint and kids bike courses run loops beside the lake. The run courses pass Lake Michigan and city landmarks including Buckingham Fountain, the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, and Soldier Field, with a finish area on Columbus Drive.
Most distances offer individual and relay options; the Triple Challenge is listed as an individual race. Participants receive event amenities including a medal, T-shirt, timing, post-race food, and an expo experience.

- Kids Jr (ages 7-10): 100 m swim; 2.2 mi bike; 0.62 mi run.
- Kids Sr (ages 11-14): 200 m swim; 4.4 mi bike; 1.24 mi run.
- SuperSprint: 0.23 mi swim; 6.2 mi bike; 1.5 mi run.
- Sprint: 0.47 mi swim; 15 mi bike; 3.1 mi run.
- Olympic: 1.5 km swim; 40 km bike; 10 km run.
- Triple Challenge: 1.63 mi swim; 46.3 mi bike; 10.85 mi run.
