Chestermere Loop The Lake Run
The 15th annual Chestermere Loop The Lake Run takes place at Anniversary Park in Chestermere. The course follows a loop around Lake Chestermere and offers views of the snow capped Rockies.
Available distances:
- 21 km run age 16 and up
- 10 km run age 10 and up
- 5 km run age 10 and up
- 1 km kids run age 5 and up
Race entry includes a finisher tech t-shirt and race bib; the kids race includes a medal. Registrations after April 15 are not guaranteed a shirt. Timing is provided with RFID chip timing and real time web results. There are four aid stations on course supplying water, gels, snacks and porta potties. Post race provisions include lunch, Cinnzeo rolls and other food, and a finish line beach party. Medical support is present and the event is managed professionally.
Volunteer roles are available with a transferrable race entry valid for one year. The start area is at Chestermere Regional Community Association, 201 West Chestermere Drive, with parking located across from the start. Entry fees for each distance are provided by the organizer.
