Chestermere Loop The Lake Run
Chestermere Loop The Lake Run takes place Saturday, April 17, 2027, returning to Anniversary Park for its 15th edition. The course loops Lake Chestermere and includes views of the snow capped Rockies.
Distances offered:
- 21 km run - aged 16 plus, entry $79.
- 10 km run - aged 10 plus, entry $59.
- 5 km run - aged 10 plus, entry $49.
- 1 km kids run - aged 5 plus, entry $25.
Race entry includes a finisher tech t shirt and race bib; the kids race includes a medal. Four aid stations are placed on the course with water, gels, candy and pretzels; porta potties and cheering spectators are available along the route. Timing is by RFID chip with real time web results. Post race provisions include lunch, Cinnzeo rolls and other food, and there is a finish line beach party and medical support.
The event starts at Chestermere Regional Community Association, 201 West Chestermere Drive, with parking located across from the start line. Race package pickup is available on race day. Volunteers are needed and may earn a transferrable race entry valid for one year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
