Chestermere Loop The Lake
Chestermere Loop The Lake is a road running event returning to Anniversary Park. The course circles Lake Chestermere and offers views of the snow capped Rockies. The event is presented as the 15th annual edition.
Online registration closes April 17 at midnight, and in-person registration is available on race day. Race package pickup occurs the morning of the event.
Distances offered on the same day include:
- 21 km run
- 10 km run
- 5 km run
- 1 km kids run
Race entry includes a finisher tech t-shirt and race bib; the kids race includes a medal and bib. The course features four aid stations supplying water, gels, candy and pretzels, plus porta-potties. Timing is provided by RFID chip with real-time web results. Post-race provisions include lunch and items such as Cinnzeo rolls, and there is a finish line beach gathering for participants and spectators. Medical support and professional race management are provided.
Commemorative finisher items were produced for 2026 and new designs are expected for 2027. Volunteers are needed and may earn a transferable race entry valid for one year. The start area is located at the Chestermere Regional Community Association, with parking across from the start line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
