Chestermere Loop The Lake Run
The 15th annual Chestermere Loop The Lake Run takes place at Anniversary Park, featuring a course around Lake Chestermere with views of the snow capped Rockies.
Distances offered include:
- 21 km age minimum 16 years
- 10 km age minimum 10 years
- 5 km age minimum 10 years
- 1 km age minimum 5 years
Race entry includes a finisher tech t-shirt and race bib; the kids race includes a medal and race bib. Four well stocked aid stations are placed along the course and provide water, gels, candy and pretzels; porta‑potties will be available. Timing is by RFID chip with real time web results.
Post race provisions include lunch, Cinnzeo rolls and other food, and a finish line beach party. Commemorative finisher swag was produced for 2026 with new designs planned for 2027. The event is professionally managed and includes medical support.
The start location is Chestermere Regional Community Association at 201 West Chestermere Drive. Parking is located across from the start line. Race package pickup opens at 7:30am and participants should expect possible lines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
