ChesCo Race Fest #3
ChesCo Race Fest #3 is the final leg of the ChesCo Winter Series and takes place in Wayne, Pennsylvania at 500 Lee Road. The event uses a park loop that measures 1.25 miles and is described as fairly flat. Runners begin near the center of the park, run a prologue partial lap to the perimeter, then complete clockwise laps that finish at the Tot Lot Pavilion.
The event offers multiple race formats:
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- 26.2 miles Marathon
- 50K Ultramarathon
- 4 person Marathon Relay
Packet pick up is available on race morning. Runners pass the finish area after every 1.25 mile loop, which makes the course spectator friendly and provides repeated access to the indoor heated bathrooms and an area to change clothes or access personal food and fluids. Snacks, drinks, and pizza will be available on site.
Live results will be posted to the event results link and a livestream will run on YouTube so others can follow the event. There is an eight hour time limit for the event, which applies to the half and full marathon but not the 50K. Series scoring uses points based on the number of finishers with a 2X multiplier for the marathon and a 3X multiplier for the 50K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
