Participant Logistics
The event structure is designed for ease of use, as runners return to the finish area every 1.25 miles. This layout allows participants to access indoor heated bathrooms, change clothes, or retrieve personal nutrition and fluids frequently. An 8-hour time limit is in effect for the entire event, which accommodates walkers in the half marathon and full marathon categories.
The organizer provides snacks, drinks, and pizza on-site. Packet pick-up is conducted on the morning of the race at the venue. Live results are updated digitally throughout the day, and a livestream is provided for those interested in following the event remotely. Points for the ChesCo Winter Series are awarded based on the number of finishers, with a 2X multiplier for the marathon and a 3X multiplier for the 50K.
